Paris

Judith and my friend Alex and I went to Paris for the weekend. We stayed in a small hotel near the Gare du Nord, and had a wonderful time.

We went to the Louvre, where Judith liked the birds and the pictures and the floor and the curator with the long hair and the chicken salad sandwiches and the mediaeval walls and the ladies with the Northern Irish accents.

Judith's favourite painting was Gentileschi's 'Rest on the Flight to Egypt'... she thought it was funny, and we talked about how the Holy Family look like a real family (us!)

We went round Notre Dame, and stopped and said a little prayer, then went into the gardens behind and listened to a band.

Mostly, we took things easily and just walked/bussed around sight-seeing in a very touristy way.

He's about the same size as Judith, and I was assuming similar age.

your probably right, but Hannah looks more little-girl than baby, and people nowadays seeing a naked baby suckling would expect it to be younger, and then smaller. I think he's a big baby.
