Upgrading to Dapper didn't make the internet go - I suspect whoever mentioned Flash 8 may have the right of it. However, I did remember that Neopets has most of the games I'd be likely to want to play anyway. Go have a look, if you like that kind of thing.

Update: Or I could just use the Windows version of firefox that makes the internet go. Cool.

IIRC http://easyubuntu.freecontrib.org/ put a heap of stuff in I needed for everything to just work.

it's only flash/java and a few extra addons that dont seem to currently come with dapper *grin* so I dont think it's going to hurt - hasnt bothered me with any updates so far.
