There's a Facebook meme going around '27 ways to love me'. I think it's probably great for whoever made the thing, but it seems to be designed to be universal, or at least for romantic/sexual relationships, let's ignore all the rest of love, and has lots of arty shots of m/f couples being stereotypicla, and contains lines like 'hold me when I'm mad' and 'play with my hair'.

So, it seems to me that maybe this is one where there should be blank squares.

1. Don't play with my hair
2. Don't touch me when I'm stressed
3. In fact, negotiate touching before you do it
4. No eye contact
5. I'm serious stop looking at my face
6. er, fuck it, nothing works for everyone. So never mind.

Me, very much, it's one of my favourite ways to be physically intimate. But I hate lots of the other things on that FB meme, so I definitely wouldn't assume my feelings are universal.

I don't mind as long as they don't bloody backcomb it. At least, I will happily tolerate it from people I trust and non-sticky sensible children who seem to ask bizarrely often.

I interpreted it as, don't let me walk away from a fight – follow me if I stomp off in a huff. Which is still a bit creepy and controlling, but better than never letting me walk away from you ever at all without following me.
