My bibliophile son

Just had a huge tantrum - lying on the floor kicking his feet - because Judith touched his book. Not while he was reading it.
Andreas is very book orientated at the moment, and will shout "book book book book book" every time we pass a book shop or a library. It's sweet, if a little wearing.
His bed time ritual at the moment is to line all his toys up in his cot (that's the reason they're in the cot), settle in my lap with his favourite, a St Bernard named Woof Woof, and say "Woof Woof story" ("Woof Woof is ready for his story now"). I read him Room on the Broom recently (he chooses three - yesterday he came to me straight after dinner with a pile of books and said 'three books'. There were as well) and he announced it was "Woof Woof fave".

Date: 2013-09-11 05:22 pm (UTC)I can fully understand the *my* book, I want to read it first, thing, too (it had just arrived and she just wanted to look at it, but you never can tell with sisters).
I agree, it is rather lovely.
