Playing telephone game with dreamwidth, someone told me that one of you lot knew that Terry's Chocolate Orange use ethical chocolate, but then we couldn't find that on the website. I would love love love it if you could confirm that? I haven't had a chocolate orange for so long and I haven't found a good alternative!


(Of course there are also many many good reasons to not put effort into identifying chocolate sourcing, but that is a thing I try to do, and the rumour mill says that so does someone else who decided that the chocolate orange is OK)

Discovered that 5% of non-fairtrade chocolate farmers are child slaves

Checked the kitchen for non-fairtrade chocolate. Since Cadbury went fairtrade, that's Wagon Wheels and Daim bars, basically. Have emailed Burtons in the faint hope that I will still be able to eat Wagon Wheels, will let you know what response I get.

Update: I forgot about hot chocolate/milkshake mix. Luckily for me, Cadburys aimed to get all their drinks fairtrade by the end of 2010. I'm not sure they managed it, I'll have to check.
