The year by first lines

the first line of the first LJ post of each month this year.
January: Judith's favourite library book for a long time has been "My doll Keshia" by Eloise Springfield.
February: People post pictures of the food they make for it, and there were loads of guys wearing dresses, some kind of New Orlean thing?
March: We went to Madame Tussauds at half term, and Benedict was asking why Benazir Bhutto was assassinated, as he thought she was one of the good guys.
April: (Picture of my greengage tree) Yesterday it was buds only, but this morning, all the buds had opened.
May: I took part in the Social contact survey, which said that if I were a childrens' TV character, then I would be a Ludwig!
June: The one I wanted to take is seated only (it's a sleeper train, so I want to be able to lie down).
July: I am actually glad of the weather.
August: We got home after a wonderful holiday, to discover that Deta was ill (and my house looks like even more of a tip compared to the beautiful houses I've been staying in).
September: I know some of you are in IL, and maybe can look out for this girl, the 16 year old daughter of a friend of a friend.
October: I told Judith we were going to a party, and I wasn't quite sure what we'd do at the party, but maybe there would be games or dancing.
November: Still here, still doing flylady.
December: Benedict (and his class)will be singing at the switching on of the Arbury Court Christmas tree lights, Tuesday at 4pm.
My flylady mission yesterday was to make cookies, and I forgot, so J and I will be doing that today. We're probably going to use the first of these recipes and make stained-glass window cookies.
