Fill up your suitcase with canned pumpkin (there's a recipe for pumpkin pie on the back). I had to import nearly a dozen cans to the UK last Turkey Day.
I wouldn't know about that, but the point of tinned pumpkin is to save all the turning raw pumpkin into cooked pumpkin puree work; it is easy to add spices, sugar, etc. afterwards. I made a pumpkin pie from tinned pumpkin once and it was very nice.
Things are different in Spanish supermarches too but you can find familiar UK things in some. One of the nice things about travel though is the new things you find. Pumpkin pie ice cream sounds yummy. I hope you are all having a lovely time.
Everything is different here. marnanel described the robins as looking like they'd swallowed another robin, which is about right. It's all bigger and shinier and I guess that's because we''re so far south. I' ve never been this far south before!
