Cinnamon. In the early stages, cinnamon aftershock. Later, baking cinnamon buns.

Like scraping your nails across rough stone.

A sort of khaki-coloured, barbed blanket that wraps around you and stifles you.

Hot chocolate with marshmallows in. Or rich red wine.

rotting things - decaying cabbages or flesh springs to mind, combined with the stale of hospitals and densists where its dark and no air gets in...

soft smooth silk - perhaps the fur of a young cat?

blueblack grey swirling out of control, random

crisp fresh apples from the tree... Fresh meadow air...
