Fantasy & Science Fiction Magazine

Having recently experienced an urge to read a short story magazine, and found none to my liking in the shops, I subscribed to Fantasy & Science Fiction Magazine. The copy for July/August duly landed in my Kindle app, and I thought I'd give you a brief review, which will be useless unless you already read said periodical as the September/October issue is already out.

In summary: the first few stories I read felt a little derivative and tired, but there were a couple of gems that made the magazine worth its price, and I'm going to keep going for the moment. Would any of you like me to do a similar short review of the current issue when I've read it?
