There's a word 'enfeoff'

This makes me so happy, I had to share.

It means, well, what I would have used 'to enfief' before, without realising there was an actual word. Ra!

(Oh, and actual scholarly stuff about 12th century inheritance bears out my pet (uinformed) theories, but I'm guessing none of you care about that. I should do a poll...
