Ah, Ghoti, one of my earliest memories of you, and certainly the finest, is from back in the summer of 1999(?), when they were restoring the Albert Memorial next to the Royal Albert Hall. We were on our way to the Proms (Mozart clarinet concerto, wasn't it?), and had just walked across Hyde Park from Marble Arch. You were dressed in bohemian summer chic. As we approached the memorial, a sudden whimsy seemed to hit you, and you darted towards the memorial with a cry of joy, losing your hat, and removing your top and skirt on the way. Wearing just your undies and some strappy tied sandals, you pole-danced on the scaffolding, to the immense enjoyment of several groups of tourists.
