I've read ... 2 short stories. (I'm reading two large non-fic books) one by Seanan and one by Sanderson, both white afaik... I'm usually a bit leery of guessing biographical facts about authors that aren't explicitly revealed by them.

Yes, I have the same issue, but most of them did publish that information (both gender and ethnic identity).

Oh, and I barely read anything in the height of summer when I'm being SAD. It just happens that right now is my happy, stable time when I read all the things.
