What are you reading Wednesday?

Yesterday I wrote a new Facebook bio, showed it to Colin (who is not on FB) laughed and pointed out that it's almost exactly the same as his new Twitter profile text.
I find twitter annoying - this time around, when I went to look, I was annoyed by text of the first tweet, which was a video of a red panda playing in the snow so good going there, original tweeter.
So neither of us would have seen that if we'd not taken a moment to share, but I guess we're quite similar really.
Anyway, what I'm reading is Raising Steam by Terry Pratchett. I'm a fifth of the way through, and so far it seems good fun. If you liked the emergent technology storyline of Discworld, it doesn't disappoint - and I did. Plus, you know, trains.
I also had lots of books appear at the library at once for me. So my next up is probably but not definitely the gorgeous Watchmaker of Filigree Street, by Natasha Pulley. It has a steampunk cover of black, gold and green octopi, rockets and clockwork, and a cut through to the frontispiece, a pocket watch.
