Excess of sourdough/Herman starter?

Having just taken delivery of my Herman starter from atreic[*], I am sure I will end up with tons of extra starter after a while, as there are only so many people who'll actually want starter... assuming I manage not to mess it up and kill it.

ooh, I used to have sourdough starter but didn't make bread often enough to warrant keeping it going. If I ever get round to regular baking again I will bear this option in mind for the excess!
