Pokemon

So, some of you guys really like Pokemon, right? And I hear so much about them, that I think maybe I should have a go.

Lovefilm have 9 Pokemon games for DS: Platinum, Black, White, Dash, Link, Ranger, Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team.

Which would be the best (most representative? easiest entry?) for a beginner like me? Is it even a good idea?

I told this story before, but I can't help but repeat it. When I was hanging out with friends five years younger than me, I discovered that there is a flaw in Randall's summary. There's a perfect phrase for dismissing anyone overly interested in any thing except one, because if your friends actually are talking about pokemon, you're deprived of your perfect rebuttal, and funnily enough it had never before occurred to me that might actually happen :)

Since you're just starting out, I'd go with the ones that are coming out soon, Black or White. Since they're all new games, core series (that is, central), and the series is being totally revamped at this point in many ways, I think you'll like those games best.
