Stained glass window biscuits

We made these in Brownies and loved them, so when I saw a kit last year I had to try. The kit said to place a boiled sweet in each hole, but then they didn't melt properly. This year I looked up the recipe, and all the recipes I found said crush the sweets. That worked better
