Just watched Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Quite the silliest film I've seen in a long time. It's not exactly an adaptation, more a sequel to the book, but has similar levels of silliness/plausibility.

I should probably watch that. Given that I've been to Snæfellsjökull and seen the signpost and the info board at Arnarstapi.
