The internet seems uncertain which house to put me in. It dithers between two, which are actually the two I'd dither between, but fails to come up with a final definitive answer. So I turn to you, dear reader.

[Poll #1026505]

And now I go to watch Cars with the family.

When I first read the book I thought I was Gryffindor (but then I thought everyone else would want to be Gryffindor, but I was really Gryffindor!) but now I think I'm more of a Ravenclaw.

I think I really am a Sidneyite though. :)

Yes, I did think when I first read that most people would want to be Griffindor (even though I'd had [livejournal.com profile] keris bounce at me about her Slitherin-ness previously).

The fact that you're consistently typing both "Griffindor" and "Slitherin" makes me wonder if your y key is broken :-P

(I try not to spelling-flame on a regular basis, but when it's particularly consistent I think it's less likely to be a persistent typo and more likely to be a mistaken belief, hence might be more susceptible to correction.)

D'oh! You know, I kept looking at both and thinkigng 'that's not quite right'; I should have checked :)

Thankyou.

I put Ravenclaw for you, though I'm not sure why. I just imagined it would suit you.

I put Gryffindor for myself as JKR writes first person too effectively, though I think that's probably the least appropriate choice. Knowledge-based, tick, Ravenclaw. Kind of hopeless but kind-hearted, tick, Hufflepuff. Kind of evil, sociopathic and successful, tick, Slytherin.

Oh, what did you think of Cars? I saw it recently and thought it was quite good (nicely thought out) though not amazing.

More or less what you said. Benedict (who had seen it before) loves it. Only films he likes: Star Wars, Cars and the American Girls films (historical doll films).

I'm not sure which house I'd put you in, but I have a theory that Hufflepuff is actually an egalitarian paradise. This is based on a sorting hat song along the lines of "Said Hufflepuff, I'll teach them all" and goes on about taking anyone and everyone. Thus I believe that Helga Hufflepuff was a socialist, if not a communist... I'm doodling a fic on those lines...
