Spice storage

So, I've decided, as so often happens, that I need better spice storage than keeping them in bags which get messed up and have to be tidied every three months when I find it impossible to find anything. I have currently 41 distinct herbs/spices/mixes and a shopping list of 3 more. So what I'm looking for is a good way of storing them. I'm thinking a shelving system would be good so I don't have to reach under anything. About half of them are in Schwartz style jars and half in poly bags or jam jars, which is normally too much for a Schwartz jar.

So my question is, what do you do? Would you recommend it?
