Happy anniversary to Colin and me
Aug. 13th, 2009 10:26 pmWe've been married four years, and I still love being married to Colin. He's a wonderful darling of a man.
I've been totally spoiled today; presents (chocolates and a book on preserves) *and* flowers... and he managed to get flowers that look like pineapples! (It's our fruit and flowers anniversary - I didn't buy Colin flowers, which is good as we only have one vase, but I did make him a BLT for lunch). They're gorgeous.
Then this evening we went to Brasserie Gerard, and I ate whitebait and squid, lamb tagine, and crepes suzette and it was all very very lovely. We all had a good time and Judith (who liked my whitebait better than Colin's onion soup, was equal on our tagines (Colin had chicken) and was only allowed Colin's pudding of strawberries and mango sorbet) was complimented on her behaviour.
