DNA scarf

I've just got the work secret santa (two wmen both thought the other was going to organise it. When I relaised this, I did it myself). So, I've got the workmate who clearly nneeds a DNA scarf.

Our dinner, at which the presents are traditionally iven out, is next thursday. Do I have enough time to make one, or should I make a plainer scarf?
