Yesterday,

cjwatson took me to the seaside. We started in Great Yarmouth, and walked to California. It rained on the way there, which was fabulous; I was going to get wet anyway, so I could feel free to walk through the sea. There's a new wind farm. It was all very calming and beautiful.

When we got there, we sat in the pub and watched snooker for a bit, before coming back. It wasn't raining on the way back, the sun was shining. There were more people around, but still not many. It was still beautiful, but I didn't go so much in the sea as on the beach.

At one point, we saw a porpoise swimming. I'd never expected that :)

When we were almost back, we noticed that the sun was setting, so we clambered onto a dune, and watched it set. That was rather lovely, too; to the left, the sun sinking, to the right, the moon rising (well, risen), and us in the middle.

So, for the end of our walk the moonlight reflected in the water.

All so very beautiful, and peaceful, and I feel much refreshed now.
