ghoti_mhic_uaitI'm confused. Why is it always bad to be away from your family at Christmas? It's a religious festival which is about a birth, and hence has familial significance, but the world isn't going to end just6 because I didn't see my mother.
Actually, this year we did go to family - Jon's family - but that's the first time I've done so since leaving home, and it's never been expected of me before.
Some people just don't think it's that much of a deal. Why does that offend some people?
