Sep. 8th, 2009 09:27 pmFrom a conversation earlier, I came away with the impression that Brits wear dressing gowns but Americans do not, and, furthermore, that some people not only say bath robe rather than dressing gown, but also think of them as different things. So, I wondered whether my first impression was accurate.

Furthermore, B and I have been watching a TV programme called Phineas and Ferb. The theme tune starts "There's 104 days of summer vacation". Over what time frame are there 104 days of summer vacation? Is that two years, and is there a school that lasts three years (so has two summer vacations in it)?
