[livejournal.com profile] robert_jones and [livejournal.com profile] yves_ilena have both expressed an interest in seeing ballet ith me. Now, I had thought of going to see the English National Ballet , but that that will mean waiting until December or January. There are other ballet companies.

In other news, Archway Theatre Club have a production of Death and the Maiden by Ariel Dorfman. This is, of course, the favourite play of both [livejournal.com profile] davefish and me. waffle ) So, um, David and eveyrone else, what do you think?

Lastly, at our housewarming party, Jacob and I had planned to perform Waiting for Godot on his puppet theatre (I wanted to do Six Characters in Search of an Author, but it is his theatre), but then I had a concert to sing in digression ) so it never happened. Anyway, I had thought of my birthday party being games and a pot-luck super. So as to start at about 3 or 4 with pin the tail on the donkey, and pass the parcel, and so on, and then progress into grown-up games as the evening wore on (presumably ending up with us all playing bridge in the early hours of the morning) Now, I'd rather like to actually do the puppet play thing, but would it fit in that format, or should we have a 'puppet theatre' day, and invite other submissions? Or would that be too much?
