Today I have mostly been

wrapping keris in imaginery pastry and pretending she's a pudding. Wearing shiny pretty earrings aforementioned keris made for me, being really bad at trivial pursuit(I had to mime 'U2', because I couldn't remember their name) and bouncing at the lovely Susan McFish and his lovely keris.

Reading in the airing cupboard occured,( and I did a compatability survey )

It's all good.

Today we have mostly been seeing a steam train

A Swedish steam train, all points and strange-smelling, pulled us from Peterborough to the wilds, and back. It snowed at the other end of the track, and we saw lots of cool engines, cold and yet happy, including an Awdry-authenticated Thomas.

She was lovely, the engine, but she didn't have a name.

Yay, steam! Yay, engines!
