This is the cake I made for Colin for St Joseph's day (19th March, but we celebrated early to avoid Holy Week):





These are my coloured eggs this year:




Just done with food colouring - but a whole bottle to two eggs.

Pretty. You can make pace eggs by wrapping them in onion skin, tying up into a pair of old tights and boiling them.

Is that pace like the Italian for peace, or is it something else? (I am wanting to imagine pace-eggs like a pace-maker, that you can give to people to say "I'm glad your heart is beating, long may it beat.")

Different bits of the web says it comes from the Latin 'Pacher' or the Old English "Pasch" or the Hebrew "Pesach", all meaning Easter or Passover. I like your definition ;)
