Colin and I have decided we want to see more films at the cinema. We tend to subsist on a diet of romcom, which is not necessariyl good for us. Anyway, having recently made this decision, I noticed, as I often do when I go nto the cinema, several films which I really want to see. It's not my turn to choose this week, it's Colin's; we went to Outlaw last week as my choice. However, one of the films which I really want to see is Amazing Grace. Which google tells me is not being shown in Cambridge at all. I guess I'm waiting for DVD then.

The relentless Rom Com was just getting a little sickly.

Also, I suddenly realised that the reason we didn't go to the cinema was because I decided in my back brain that we couldn't afford it.

I am glad it turns out to be there after all; it opened here, too this week, which is always dicy because Canadian release dates mostly, but not always, are in synch with US release dates, but sometimes vary wuildly for no discernible reason; we'll be seeing it Tuesday which is cheap night at the AMC.

Apparently the cinema by the junction is doign a £10.99 per month for all the cinema you could want, no doubt T&C apply as looks too good to be true, see their webpage under Unlimited

You have to sign up for a whole year. It still works out vastly cheaper, but we haven;t done it yet because you have to organise sufficient ID in the same place, and I don't generally carry two forms of ID with me.

I think we'll wait until after my-turn-to-choose has taken us to the Arts.
