Martin was a good friend to me. He took me out and let me talk and think and be friendly with someone when I needed it. He always struck me as someone in search of something; I'm sorry he never found it in this lifetime.
Maybe I could have been a better friend to him, but in the words of CS Lewis, "We are never told what might have been."
