Ceilidh

Next Saturday, 19th May, St Laurence School, Arbury Road. From 5:30 to 8:30. Tickets cost £3 adult, £2 child or £8 family. There will also be a shared supper, so bring a plate of food.

There's plenty of time to get from school to parties afterwards, so don't feel that you can't come because of evening plans.

Children are welcome, but unaccompanied adults are also welcome.

It'll be fun, it's cheap, you should be there.

Ceilidh

We have a school ceilidh on the 19th May. It starts at 5:30 and ends at 8:30, so you can ceilidh and have your evening free. There will also be a bring and share supper in the interval.

Last time we had a school ceilidh, it was good fun, and I was particularly requested to bring back [livejournal.com profile] elise and [livejournal.com profile] libellum as 'they fitted in so well'. The band are very good; they're young, being mostly from St Bedes (and our own wee harpist), but they were playing at the Irish embassy last year St Patricks day, on merit rather than cuteness. I don't know the caller, but I do trust the person who found her to find good caller.

So, yes, come and dance! Tickets are £3 for an adult, £2 for a child, and £8 for a family ticket, and can be bought in advance via me, or on the door.
Venue is St Laurence School, Arbury Road (the other end of Arbury Road from Milton Road).
