I bought the Machineries of Empire trilogy in December and started reading them this week - I'm currently about half way through the second. I am finding them very good indeed, although the darkness and gore level is right about my limit, there is enough hope and determination to keep me going.

Have I enthused at you about Murderbot novellas yet? Or T Kingfisher's novel Swordheart?

I'm putting those YA novels on my wishlist (Trail of Lightning is already there).
