I have scrambled tofu, most mornings. (Chopped-up veg -- I try to do those the night before, & I do 2 days worth at a time -- fried up for a few min, add cooked rice if there's any around, crumble big lump of tofu over the top, add nutritional yeast/turmeric/cumin/dill.) If there isn't any rice I have a slice of toast with it. Very tasty.
I do feel better when I eat that rather than toast-and-marmite, but the advantage of toast-and-marmite is that it is a breakfast D can bring me on the mornings when I can get up a bit later. SLEEP VS PROTEIN PROBLEM.
Hadn't occurred to me to have hummus & veg for breakfast, though. I do very often eat hummus at lunch though & it gets a bit boring after a while, even while remaining tasty.
