Somewhat refreshing (for a scammer)

"I'm John from *mumble* Computing"
"What previous relationship do you have with me?"
"We provided the software for your computer"
"What software?"
"The operating system"
"What operating syste,?"
"Windows"
"I'm sorry, you have the wrong number"
"I have the right number"
"Then you're lying to me"
"What benefit would I get from lying to you?"
"You just said you provided Windows for my computer. I don't have a computer with Windows on. Therefore either you've got the wrong number or you're lying to me"
"I'm lying to you"

(They usually go for 'I've got the wrong number, sorry' at this point)

I never get those calls! I wonder why you do and I don't. I do vaguely feel like trying to tie up all their time with virtual machines rolling back changes they've made.

I wondered why I never get those calls for almost twenty seconds before remembering that it's because, for family reasons, I never answer the phone unless I'm expecting a specific call arranged via some other medium.
