FAO knitters.

Angel bears is a charity which provides knitted bears to children in hospitals, homes and through front line services (police, paramedics, coastguards etc). They have patterns on their website for anyone who wishes to donate.

Until Christmas, magazine Take a Break is offering a freepost address to send bears to.

I mention this just in case anyone is interested.

Oh, and if, like me, you always miss the Innocent Smoothies hat drive, it's time. http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/bigknit/

Sadly, Coca Cola have reduced the amount of money per hat that Age Concern get *again*. They cut it from 50p per hat to 30p, and now it's only 25p per hat. I think I still will make a few, but it's very annoying nevertheless.

I find crochet better for wrist action, might that be an option for you? Also knitting continental is allegedly better, but I don't. I sometimes think I should learn.

(I have a [livejournal.com profile] sphyg hat, I got it out yesterday :))

I hate knitting with little tiny thin needles, but for crochet, the hook part can be tiny and the handle big. Also, my knitting is too loose, so I need even slimmer needles, but my crochet is not too loose. I'm not sure if that helps with RSI though.

Nesting already? ;P You can have another hat if you like - though I'm using up pink wool for now. I never worked out how to crochet in 2D.

Not nesting as such. It's nearly time for the NCT sale, and I wanted to check what I had first
Also, there's not a lot I can do, so being able to do something useful is good.
