I'm confusing.

I don't really eat "breakfast" but I've taken to having some dried fruit with my morning coffee at work, so maybe that counts.

If I stay in a hotel that provides breakfast I will generally eat it. I would expect hotels places to provide fresh fruit salad as part of a breakfast buffet, but not generally expect B&Bs to offer anything more interesting than an apple or orange. I would also expect fresh fruit juice (apple, orange and possibly more interesting options) to be available as well as tea and coffee.

I will also eat cooked breakfast food, kippers and porridge (salty!) depending on what is available but I wouldn't want to do so every day, it's a bit too much food for my preferences. I don't eat cereal-with-milk, I find the texture thoroughly disgusting and certainly can't cope with it first thing in the morning. I don't tend to eat "continental" breakfast foods (cheese, cold meats) as they aren't much to my taste, pastry things (coissant, pain au chocolat, etc) are nice. Oh, and toast, there should be toast, and jam to go with.

I figure the food in HP was meat-with-veg. It irritates me slightly that there aren't any v*gan kids at Hogwarts although I assume the House Elves would make them food they can eat.
