Mmm...cheese

Today I didn't have any cheese for breakfast, but I had a baked potato, half with y fenni and half with somerset brie and crayfish tails. Colin had cheddar, somerset brie and salami on his. Also, I had y fenni and crackers for my afternoon tea.

[Poll #1144194]

What cheese did you eat today?

I have never tried it.

I suspect if I attempted to order it in a supermarket in Cambridge I would not be understood, however. :/

They understand in Waitrose, and ISTR in Sainsbury's. Don't think I've ever seen it in Tesco (which is generally crap for cheese).

Today I am having a rather ordinary mature cheddar. Yesterday I had Lincolnshire Poacher, which is probably my personal favourite.

How do you think they think it's pronounced? My odd gog accent is always fine.

I just worried they'd be reading it as "Why Fenny", but it seems my fears were unjustified!
