So I sort of noticed there was some kind of sports event going on in the US
People post pictures of the food they make for it, and there were loads of guys wearing dresses, some kind of New Orlean thing?
Anyway, even for a newbie like me (it;s only in the last year or two that I realised that the Superbowl was American Football rather than baseball) this story in the Times is quite funny: basically the NFL (sort of the US's answer to the FA, afaict) banned the use of a team's catchphrase, there was outrage, the senator got huffy, and the Times recorded a short video in support of the fans.
Someone who knows more about sport in general and American football in particular may like to come along and correct/clarify these points. Feel free.
