It occurs to me that I used to be the sort of person who'd go to Aberdeen for chocolate cake (hello, sobkre), and thus I don't need excuses to go places, particularly if I know there's someone there who'll put me up. Alternatively, I still haven't worn my most ridiculous top. I wonder how much I can use that as an excuse for before I actually have to *wear* it?
(Yes, OK, I'm not rich, and I should probably save money for November Whitbying, particularly if it'll be all three of us. But even so)
